  1. Technicians are GREAT, phone operators NOT GREAT

    All of the technicians who come to our house are friendly, knowledgable, and we appreciate their hard work. getting information from the phone lines is a different story. My washer had been broken for a while. The technician came to check it and the part that had been ordered by the phone person was the wrong part. So the correct part was ordered. The part came so I called to make an earlier appointment to fix my washer and to inquire that that was the only part I was supposed to receive. I actually called TWICE to make sure that was the only part before the technician came. Both people on the phone told me yes it was. Well when the technician finally came he discovered that was not the only part that was supposed to be shipped and when he called found out that that part was back ordered for another several weeks. So now his time was wasted and I am a super angry customer trying hard not to take it out on the hard-working technician because it is totally not his fault We pay a lot of money for the Sears warranty and it's ridiculous that I have to wait over a month to get my washer fixed. It is not easy being busy working parents with children to be waiting around for Sears every time they have to come back and having to go to the laundry mat wasting money. So I am extremely disappointed with the people behind the scenes who are supposed to know what is going on when speaking to a customer about an upcoming service and parts . I feel very badly for the technicians who are trying their best and probably getting yelled at every house they go to when things don't go right because of the people on the other end . So thank you technicians for doing your job well, and I wish everyone in the service department would follow their lead. Very frustrating experience. Please do not email me back and say sorry. Just fix the problem. Thank you.

    Repair Tech was very forthcoming in sharing safety tips on the operation and maintenance of my gas dryer! Annual maintenance checks are highly recommended.
