  1. Good service, unreasonably delayed

    The two technicians who serviced the washer were excellent. The first (Aug. 1) found the problem, determined what was needed, and had the needed part delivered within hours. He had planned, and was scheduled, to come back that day and finish the repair. However Sears took the return appointment off his schedule and rescheduled the completion for Aug. 13--almost two weeks later. At that time the second technician arrived and completed the repair quickly. I can see no reason for the repair not to have been completed on Aug. 1, nor for us to be without a working washer for the additional time.

  8. poor communication from scheduling.

    when you schedule They send a man out and he diagnosis the problem, but doesn't repair it. Then they schedule another appt. to repair it and mail the part to your house. It takes two weeks and two appt. to repair anything. They don't send you messages to let you know what time he will be here. I've used this service several times for my appliances and this has happened every time.

    I'm on the fence with this. I'm very disappointed. The tech did nothing, He said that it was an issue with the condenser bouncing around and that sears would not repair it. There was a cover - or something - that needed to be reattached, which he did nothing about.
