    It took FIVE appointments to get my ice maker replaced. I had two appointments where no one showed up at all during the 4-hour appointment windows. No one called me with any updates. I personally called several times for updates and was always told the technician was still on the way. My second appointment when a technician showed up they did not have the parts needed to repair or replace my ice maker and I was told I had to make another appointment to have it installed after the part would be mailed to me. The installation appointment #3 was another no show. When someone did show up (appointment #4) the tech didn't appear to know how to replace the ice maker and was tugging on it. I actually had to point out obvious ways to plug it back in. This tech had no material to reference and made me very uneasy. It was like he was "winging" it. The new ice maker was installed incorrectly and was visibly in the wrong position on the door and an extra screw was left on my counter. When I showed displeasure and questioned if it was installed correctly the tech shoved the ice tray into the door where it was stuck and I was unable to remove it. When I said I would like to know it was working before the tech left I was told "I can not stay here any longer" and he left. I had to call and have another tech come. Luckily it was on the same day, (appointment #5) but this may have only been because of the my being angry and voicing my displeasure of this whole repair experience. The new tech took the ice maker out and put it back in correctly. He was the only good part of this experience. Knowledgeable, polite, clean, and quick. I had to take around 20 hours off of work to be home during these appointment windows. After my second no show I was told a $50 check allegedly is being mailed to me as compensation. That comes nowhere close to compensation for the amount of time I took off work and the frustration and waste of time I had waiting for the technicians to arrive. This is unacceptable customer service and Sears should be embarrassed by the behavior of its employees. Overall considering loss of time, wages and frustration this warranty is not worth having and I would not recommend it to anyone.

  3. Dishwasher . Help needed! Lorenzo was great, He checked everything to try to fix it .

  6. Refrigerator not repairable and must be replaced

    Gary did all that was possible to deal with this broken Samsung refrigerator. He filed report and informed me I needed to contact PABA.

  7. No great service

    Problem not solved. Tech said there was nothing he could do, so I asked him “why am I paying for the warranty then” it is not cheap. The tech left my home at 12:30 or so and by 2:45 the freezer had ice on the bottom of it just like before. Have another appt Dec 2 hopefully with another tech, maybe he can solve the problem, this will be the 3rd time
