    I will never buy another Kenmore product again. The double oven has been replaced once and still the bottom oven loses heat. Sam the technician explained why. When the first one was instaled the installer advised never to use the self cleaning mode as it would melt the solder in the PC board! Should have been a clue then!

  2. Took 4 techs & 4 calls but it's finally fixed

    Making an appointment was easy. Tech 1 did nothing Tech 2 actually diagnosed the issue and ordered the parts Tech 3 started a load and left (did not work within 20 minutes of tech leaving) Tech 4 brought home and completed the repair

    Couldn’t be happier. I phoned in the problem at 7am, technician arrived same day in afternoon, fixed the problem. Good as new!

  10. Still Leaking, Now to Contact Sears Home Services...

    The star ratings need clarification first. I included the ability to contact Sears Home Services in the Overall Rating, dropping it down to 3/5. The service tech is rated much higher – Communication 5/5, On-Time Arrival 5/5, Courteous 5/5, Care & Clean Up 5/5, Repair Expertise 4/5 (The seal started leaking again, but it was not something he could test without staying to watch the dishwasher run through cycles a few times.) Service Tech’s Overall Rating 5/5. How did the ability to contact Sears Home Services drop the Overall Rating down to 3/5? Making an appointment with Sears Home Services is becoming more and more difficult. When you call, if you wish to speak with a human being you must first waste what seems a ridiculous amount of time navigating through their automated system - which seems to be set up to discourage you from continuing on to a person. Then, you have to hope you get a competent person. A service tech came out recently to replace two parts in my dishwasher – a lower door seal (where it had been leaking) and an electrical part. When he finished, he said to watch it in case it leaked again - and if it did to contact Sears Home Services. The second time it ran, I noticed it started leaking again. I attempted to contact Sears Home Services… I called Sears Home Services and, once again, had to deal with their automated system. After navigating through, I finally reached a person – only to have him tell me their computers were down so he was going to transfer me to Customer Support. The next thing I heard was an automated message telling me something to the effect of the number (I had been transferred to) was not valid for my area. In all, I called Sears Home Services FOUR TIMES that day. Each call taking a good amount of my time. With the second call, as soon as the person answered she rapidly rattled out her message that their computers were down and to call back in two hours, then she quickly hung up. The third call was only slightly better. A gentleman answered, and when I asked if he could transfer me to Customer Support, I was transferred to a number that didn’t seem to even be Sears Home Services. It had an automated system that looped – giving out options with the last one being “or stay on the line for help”, then it repeated the same message… but there was no help. The fourth call was more frustrating; I reached a lady but had trouble hearing her. It sounded as if she was far away. I let her know I was having difficulty hearing her, and she told me I must have poor internet! (I was on my cell phone, not making an internet call.) First, she gave me attitude. Then, rather than help, she hung up on me! I was so frustrated, I did not try call #5 at that time. It should not be this difficult to speak with a person at Sears Home Services; once a person is on the line, making an appointment should be a quick and easy process. PS: In the guidelines for writing a review, it says if there is a customer service issue to contact them. What a joke… Contacting them is the issue!
