Outstanding service. Young man very well trained and experience. Knew all features and benefits and very attentive. Great to see a young man that is so dedicated and loyal to a great company like Sears. Think his name was Zeferino. Also a plus that he speaks Spanish! Great team member and could be developed to be a supervisor in my opinion. I was in supervision for many years and I liked this young man. He knows his trade and made an impression on me. My Sears products working like a charm now. :)))

  4. The actual repair guy was great BUT...

First of all, this POOR rating has NOTHING to do with the repair man. He was amazing and patient and knew his stuff. My gripe is with the people who man the 800# and customer service (I use the term lightly) center. There was no consistency in how our matter was treated. Our freezer went out completely and the fridge was slowly going when we asked to get a sooner time because we were losing so much food. Not only were we shut down rudely for even asking for a sooner appointment but we were told that anyone who said we might get anything sooner was giving us the royal run around. I was hung up on twice, with one person telling me that she was not going to pretend to care if all I was going to do was ask for things (an earlier appointment) when I knew it wasn't going to happen. I talked to six different people at this number trying to get some answers. I don't know if it was a run around or poorly trained, discourteous people who were stuck working over the 4th of July weekend. Well I had a weekend too, and I didn't feel like spending it fighting with representatives who seemed determined to NOT help me. One of the reps told me that if I had spent the extra cash and opted for some option where we got reimbursement for spoiled food or a rental, then I wouldn't be having so many problems. I asked her what good did that do me now and she responded nothing since you obviously didn't want to pay for the extra coverage. She then proceeded to tell me she didn't understand why customers didn't opt for the coverage in a tone that insinuated customers are stupid and know nothing. Though we were grateful for the repairman - we were prepared for the worst - it does not take away from the horrible experience dealing with Sears Customer/Repair Service. After looking at blogs and other consumer comments, it is obvious we are not the only ones this has happened to... sad really because I will never buy anything large from them again just to avoid having to ever again deal with those horrific "representatives".
