Windows installation
The sells rep was very thorough and answered all our questions. Very nice & polite man and very helpful. The wait time for our windows was pretty good, didn't take long to be built. The installation process on the other hand was not at all what I expected! I was told only "Sears employees" would be doing the work of installing my windows. That was wrong!! Two people did the work but only one was employed by Sears. Rovana was the one that told me it would only be done by Sears employees! Wrong ! Only a few times did I know what time he was coming and most of the time never knew when he left. Having had Sears come to our home before they always kept in touch with us so we would know their arrival time and were very professional on the work. Not what we was expecting from the Sears company through this experience of getting new windows.

My only concern is the way they applied the caulking. It's not so clean.

Total window replacement in 74 year old.
Replaced 18 aluminum framed, single paned windows with new Fibermex double paned windows from Sears Home Services. The Installers removed and replaced all windows in less than 2 days. Very happy with the installation, but NOT happy with the clean up inside and out on all windows. Called sales manager for help multiple times trying to get some one out to clean caulking off the windows panes, but still hasn't been done 3+ weeks later. Please... get someone out here and finish the job.

The installer was excellent-- very professional and knowledgeable. He had to use a surprising (to me) amount of caulking to cover the gaps, though, which makes me wonder if the initial measurements were off. I really hope all that caulking holds up! Also, I'm not liking the obscured glass that was put in the bathroom. I kind of got talked into that -- seemed like a good idea, but I don't like not being able to see out that window, and truly nobody could see in there unless they were actually in my back yard!
