What exactly is covered with my Protection Agreement?

Now that you know that almost everything you buy at Sears can be covered, here is what you can expect from your protection agreement. To start, the Sears Master Protection Agreement comes with service from the Sears Blue Crew and other technicians, and provides coverage for parts and labor — with no charges for in-home service. If we cannot repair a covered product, we will replace your item with a comparable item from Sears. We even include delivery and installation setup charges, giving you complete peace of mind, knowing you won’t have out-of-pocket expenses. Plus, we offer an annual preventive maintenance call for every year of coverage to make sure your item is working at peak performance.

What if the item can’t be repaired?

If Sears determines that the item cannot be repaired, we provide a 100% replacement guarantee — which includes delivery and reinstallation. The protection agreement will even provide 25% reimbursement on non-covered parts, such as water filters. And the best part? The Sears Master Protection Agreement can be renewed and transferred.

What other coverage options are available?

The Sears Repair Protection Agreement is the perfect fit for your lawn and garden equipment. Like our Master Protection Agreement, it provides full parts and labor coverage for all repairs needed due to normal use and a 25% discount on periodic maintenance and tune-ups.

The Sears PurchaseProtect is a great fit for smaller purchases such as kitchen appliances. It provides fast resolution with a Sears gift card for the full purchase price of the merchandise. This is a much more convenient option than sending the merchandise back to the manufacturer for repair.

Sears PurchaseProtect coverage begins once the in-store return window has passed. Depending on the product, the return window can be 30, 60 or 90 days. If the item is still within this window of time, it can be returned for a refund or replacement.
