Washer Problems & Solutions

My washing machine is making strange sounds or vibrations.

The tub bearings may have been water damaged as a result of a bad seal, and would need to be replaced.

My washing machine won't run or stops mid-cycle.

The door or lid switch might need to be replaced if it was damaged. It can wear out naturally, or wind up broken if caught on a foreign object.

Water won't drain from my washing machine.

The drain pump may need to be replaced. It can wear out over time, or it can get damaged when hard objects left in clothing bang around in a wash cycle. Check the drain hose connection to the drain pipe to be sure.

Water isn't pumping out of my washing machine during the spin cycle.

The drain pump may need to be replaced. It can wear out over time, or it can get damaged when hard objects left in clothing bang around in a wash cycle. Check the drain hose connection to the drain pipe to be sure.

The basket is slow or will not spin in my washing machine.

The motor coupler might need to be replaced if the machine's failure to spin is accompanied by a rattling sound from the base of the washer. Overloading the washer on a consistent basis will shorten the coupler's life.

Satisfied Customer

Brian, the Sears technician that came to my house, was very courteous, professional, efficient and helpful.  He took the time to explain hot to clean my washer pump and dryer lint from the fan. Plus, he cleaned up after he was done.

Completely Painless

Repair person was very polite. He showed me the worn/broken parts on my washer and replaced them in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to use your repair services again. I love the fact that I went online and scheduled the day and time for repair. So easy. Thanks.

So Pro

Kevin, our service technician, was a very personable, friendly and professional member of the Sears Blue Service Crew. He diagnosed the problem with the washer and quickly changed out the old part for one in his truck. He cleaned up after himself and closed out in a very professional manner. It was a pleasure to meet Kevin. Thanks for sending him.
