Scheduling the service thru the Sears Home services # was a nightmare, I was repeatedly hung up on and had difficulty dealing with the voicemail system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor overall Overall I am very unhappy with this service contract. The first appt over 6 weeks ago could not be completed as they did not arrive within the specific window. The rescheduled appt the end of July, they were also outside of the specfied window but I was called and could rearrange my day to be there at the later time. Multiple repair parts were required. When I received a phone call prior to the third appt (the current one) to ask if all the parts had arrrived, I told them that the treadmill belt had not arrived. I was told one was not ordered. I told them that according to the receipt one should have been ordered. I was told they would look into it. I did not hear anything else on the subject. On the day of this third appt (the one where the parts were supposed to be installed) I asked the technician if he had the belt. he did not. He then installed the motor and the comptroller and told me that he thinks the problem will be solved and that the reason the treatmill belt had not come in is that it is on indefinite back order, but he put in another order. I then called Sole myself, who said the belt with the logo on it is on backorder, but an alternate belt (just without the logo) is in stock. A belt arrived at my house in three business days which makes me think it was never ordered in the first place. It will be over two weeks before the technician can come back to my house. This entire process is EXTREMELY unsatisfactory. The technician was pleasant, but this in no way makes me think well of Sears as a company.
