About us
American Home Shield invented the concept of a home protection plan a little more than 40 years ago. We employ over 1,600 people and are headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1989, AHS became part of the ServiceMaster family, which includes such home service companies as ServiceMaster Clean, TruGreen, Terminix and Merry Maids.
