hello, considering getting the 3YR In-Home Repair Protection Agreement with a lawn tractor, what does it include? all scheduled maintenance? blade sharpening, oil changes? deck adjutments? sprak plugs? battery? driveshats? please tell me all the details as the product ( when in the cart) gives no specific details, thanks....

Hello Cary, this is Kevyn from the Sears Blue Service Crew. This is an excellent question! The Repair Protection Agreement on a tractor does not cover maintenance. It covers repairs on the tractor only. The following link will give a bit more information: http://themissinglink.sears.com/ml/Operations/ProtectionAgreementInfo/Tractor_Riding_Mower.pdf . To get more information, please call our protection agreement department at 1-800-827-6655. Although they are closed for today's holiday, Easter, they will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have tomorrow when the department re-opens. I hope this information is helpful. Have a great day and thank you for choosing Sears!

My lawn mower tractor has a flat tire. We took it off, and need it repaired. Do you do that? Do I take it to an auto tire repair place? Or?
I did take it to Shoreline Sears auto repair, but they said they don't do tractor tires.
thanks,

I purchased a Kenmore oven in 2005 ...the use has been minimal during this time. However, I spilled some sauce on the oven that required to be cleaned with the SELF CLEAN feauture. Once I used this feature my oven stopped working....it doesn't heat up. Can we troubleshoot this issue online?
Posted by Elsa P on May 18, 2010 at 11:25 AM CDT #
Hello Elsa, this is Kevyn from the Sears Blue Service Crew. I see how much of an inconvenience this can be. I would like to help! The unit will usually have an error code to provide a description of the failure. If the oven door lock failed during the self-cleaning cycle, this would cause the issue you are having. The cause could also be the control board having a failure or the wiring harness. These problems need a qualified repair person. You can schedule an appointment with one of our technicians by using the home page of our website, www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling us directly at 1-800-424-2047.

Where can I purchase the remote control for my garage door?
Posted by Kristin on May 18, 2010 at 03:19 PM CDT #
This is Kevyn with the Sears Blue Service Crew. Kristin, I would like to assist you with getting a remote for your garage door opener. You can purchase a remote from several different places. You can visit www.Sears.com and search "garage door opener accessories." I have craftsman lawn trtor, 17.5 hp Briggs 31C707 that backfires and stalls after 15-25 minutes. the colder the weather the longer it runs. Let it rest 30 mins and it goes again. seems starved for fuel. Have replaced fuel filter, spark plug, blown out gas cap, checked fuel line flow. all are fine. suggestions.
Posted by d mabee on May 20, 2010 at 05:03 PM CDT #
Hello D Mabee, this is Tino from the Sears Blue Service Crew and I would like tot hank you for submitting your question. I understand the inconvenience in not having your lawn tractor working properly and I will be happy to assist you. The most likely reason for your tractor to do this would be because its going through what we call a vapor lock. You can remove the gas cap and run the lawn tractor and if this works then replace the gas cap. If not, I highly recommend to schedule service and you can do so by calling us at 1-800-424-2047 where any of our associates will gladly get you taken care of. You can also create your service on our www.SearsHomeServices.com website.

I'm having the same problem with my 17.5 Briggs and Stratton Sears 42 inch cut Tractor. Did entire tune up and even replaced the magneto. Still stalls after it gets hot.
HELP!!!!
Posted by 10.236.95.26 on July 06, 2010 at 08:36 PM CDT #
Hi, this is Cameron with the Sears Blue Service Crew. You mentioned that you have done a tune up and replaced the magneto. I can only assume that you've done the tests to rule out vapor lock as well. The next things to look at would be the fuel and fuel path. Make sure we're using new gas. You can also try adding some dry gas to make sure there is no water in the gas. There's also a possibility of their being debris somewhere in the fuel. That debris could have also made it to the carburetor. You might also be dealing with fuel resin in the carb and need to do a tear down/rebuild on it. You could also be looking at simple overheating. If you're mowing too much grass at once, or mowing it too quickly, you can run into this problem. You said you did a full tune up and this hopefully included replacing the belts to relieve extra stress from the engine. You might also want to check the exhaust. Hopefully, this information provides you with the insight you're looking for. There are several answers over at www.ManageMyLife.com on the same behavior, but most of those have been covered in this little snippet. Should you require further assistance, please reply here, send us an email at contactus@searshomeservices.com or give us a call at 1-800-424-2047.

I have a kenmore a/c unit that the fan on unit slowed down from one day to next. Now it barely gets cold on the bottom floor, top floor you can't even feel it any ideas what it might be? I think it may be the "contactor"?? ...Joey
Posted by 10.236.95.25 on September 28, 2010 at 07:08 PM CDT #
Joey, this is Korinna with the Sears Blue Service Crew. I can definitely understand your concern with your AC unit not functioning properly. I'm happy to help you today. If little or no air is blowing, I would suspect the fan motor or the fan relay. The motor could be defective or the blower wheel may be stuck. The motor relay or capacitor could also be defective. I recommend having a technician come out to check and repair this issue. Service can be scheduled by calling us at 1-800-424-2047 where any of our associates will gladly get you taken care of. You can also create your service on our www.SearsHomeServices.com website.

kenmore elite dehumidifier
When unit is plug into outlet it immediately pops circuit breakers.?
Posted by James Behrendt on June 01, 2011 at 12:57 PM CDT #
Hi James Behrendt, I'm Korinna a Sears Blue Service Crew member. I know it's frustrating when a product such as a dehumidifier immediately pops the breaker when being plugged in. I'm happy to help you today. First, be sure the air filter is clean. Depending on the model, the air filter is usually located on the back of the dehumidifier. If the air filter is clean I recommend disconnecting the power cord and plugging it back into a different outlet that is not on the same electrical circuit. Also be sure to plug it directly into an outlet and NOT an extension cord. If it continues to trip the circuit breaker make sure that there are not too many other electrical appliances running on that specific electrical circuit. If it continues to trip the circuit breakers then the likely cause is the compressor. It would cost more to replace the compressor that it would to replace the dehumidifier. I provided you with a link to all the dehumidifiers Sears.com offers.
